Understanding Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes…in 3D!

March 27, 2014 by Lonnie Jones

As mentioned, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2011, so it’s been roughly two years but I still get curious sometimes about what happens inside. I am pretty sure most newly diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 still are too. And then I stumbled upon this video on Youtube, which summarizes the difference between these two types in a comprehensive 3D animation. It’s worth taking a look. By understanding how insulin behaves inside a PWD’s body, we can also have a hint of how to deal with it.

This does not rule out an accasional checkup with a doctor, of course, but it will help you become aware and responsible for your own body. Take a peek inside your system and know the possible dangers of ignorance. Say hello to your pancreas and enjoy the tour…
